2. FAITH
In the words of Elton Trueblood, "Faith is not belief without proof, but trust without reservations". when we have strong faith, it helps to move us out of the area of the impossible into a way of life, which is full of exciting possibilities. The actual difference of faith and no faith lies in how creative we are to handle the troubles of life. We learn the proper philosophy of problems through faith and therefore, it is an educative process".
To quote Marcus Bach, "In this world, your world, you are the most important figure. There is a place that no one else can fill. There is an influence that no one else can impart. There is a life that no one else can live quite as well as you can live it. What you do with your life within, in terms of self-realization, self-awareness, self-denial and self-expression, is the greatest challenge that can come to you".
We become strong with faith and to live in this world we need to be strong. We are an individual expression of God. There is a purpose, real and meaningful in our life. We need to have faith that to achieve this purpose, we are also equipped with the necessary talent and potential.
Rabindranath Tagore wrote: "Born in this great world, full of mystery of the infinite, we cannot accept our existence as a momentary outburst of chance drifting on the current of matter toward an eternal nowhere. We cannot look upon our lives as dreams of a dreamer who has no awakening in all time. We have a personality to which matter and force are unmeaning unless related to something infinitely, personal, whose nature we have discovered, in some measure, in human love, in the greatness of the good, in the martyrdom of heroic souls, in the ineffable beauty of nature, which can never be a mere physical fact not anything but an expression of personality."
3. An Inspirational Story: BE WISE
A man stopped at a flower shop to order some flowers to be wired to his mother who lives two hundred miles away. As he got out of his car he noticed a young girl sitting on the curb sobbing. He asked her what was wrong and she replied, "I wanted to buy a red rose for my mother, but, I only have seventy-five cents. A rose costs two dollars".
The man smiled and said. "Come on in with me, I'll buy you a rose."
He bought the little girl her rose and ordered his own mother's flowers. As they were leaving he offered the girl a ride home. She said, "Yes please, You can take me to my mother".
She directed him to a cemetery, where she placed the rose on a freshly covered grave.
After he left the girl, the man returned to the flower shop, cancelled the wire order, picked up a bouquet and drove the two hundred miles to his mother's house.

4. Quotable Quotes
"There comes that mysterious meeting in life when someone acknowledges who we are and what we can be, igniting the circuits of our highest potential."
--Rusty Berkus
"Ineffective people live day after day with unused potential. They experience synergy only in small, peripheral ways in their lives. But creative experiences can be produced regularly, consistently, almost daily in people's lives. It requires enormous personal security and openness and a spirit of adventure."
--Stephen R. Covey
"Every great mistake has a halfway moment, a split second when it can be recalled and perhaps remedied.
The person who tries to live alone will not succeed as a human being. His heart withers if it does not answer another heart. His mind shrinks away if he hears only the echoes of his own thoughts and finds no other inspiration.
Our society must make it right and possible for old people not to fear the young or be deserted by them, for the test of a civilization is the way that it cares for its helpless members."
-- Pearl S. Buck
