Win one of my awards!

Awards and Appreciation is something every individual likes and I believe it is an encouragement to an individual to do whatever he/she tries to do to their best. I believe that all good work should be appreciated and it gives me immense pleasure to see someone happy, especially when I watch a smile on their face, when they are told, "Wow! What a good job!" It shows an achievement after the hard work and also is a motivation to do more. I still remember the first award I received for the first site of mine and how happy and honored I felt receiving an award and reading such encouraging words! I wanted to do more and more, not for awards but I felt I was doing something really good and it gave me happiness. I would love to congratulate the efforts, creativity and imagination to those who make such wonderful sites and these awards are to encourage their effort.

These awards are to be applied for - please do not steal them away! There are 19 awards - One of them cannot be applied for! These awards are of different category and if you feel you are eligible for one of these, apply for one, by emailing to me the following details:

Your Name, Email address, Site Name, Site URL, A short description of your site, which award are you applying for and why you feel you are eligible for the award. Please take care that you choose the category correctly. Please also mention The Guardian Star Award in the subject of your email.

Some rules to follow:

1. Your site must be aimed for everyone - I mean a safe site for kids. (If your site has adult materials please do not apply for these)
2. Only sites in English will be considered.
3. I love graphics, but please ensure that load time is not too long....
4. Pleasant color combinations, good designs with no broken links..
5. Only one under construction page is allowed. The rest must be completed.
6. Easy Navigation's and well organized pages with good contents, not just graphics.
7. I am the sole judge - I should like the page for giving the award.
8. If you win, you should provide a link to my page.
9. Last but not the least, I would appreciate that you sign my guest book! After all, everyone likes to know who all have visited the site.
